The symbiosis of nature and sport becomes noticeable in Burgwalden. The challenging 18-hole course is harmoniously embedded in the unique “Westliche Wälder” recreation area. Golfers can already feel the peace and quiet of nature at the very first hole. The area of 58 hectares comprises a playing area of approximately 27 hectares which is maintained accordingly to the standards of “Leading Golf Clubs of Germany” as well as “Golf & Nature”. 

Fair and sporty – Our golf course is characterized by the striking harmony between nature and recreation area, the balance of the 18 fairways and the noticeable dominance of the rural cultural landscape which was developed over centuries. 

Golf challenges us again and again – mentally and athletically engaging with the course and its unique character created by the landscape are considered principles that have been established during the construction of the course and are still maintained today. 

In addition to the course, we offer a training area including a driving range, putting greens, a short game course with 6 holes as well as a chipping green.
